The baths of Aphrodite are found in the area near your villa. Legend has it that the goddess Aphrodite used to bathe her here,
making it a popular attraction for tourists. There is trail that leads from the baths to an 860 year old ancient oak tree, which is also
believed to be Aphrodite's mythical lovers' nest. Fontana Amoroza (Love's Spring) can also be found on Akamas. It is said to be
Aphrodite's Fountain of Love and the legend states that anyone who drinks from the spring will be overcome with youthful desire.

Latchi or called locally Lakki is a tranquil fishing village situated on the edge of the Akamas National Park. The bay of
Chrysochou stretches past Latchi for 3 km along the coastline from Polis to Neo Chorio. It is surrounded by lush green
countryside and has several sandy pebble beaches ideal for sunbathing and swimming. The beaches of pristine clear water of Latchi
also offer a variety of water sports. It is ideal for scuba diving and snorkeling, but there are opportunities to try water-skiing, surfing
and windsurfing, jet-skiing, parasailing, sailing and fishing. The old stone Carob warehouses and conversions into restaurants and
Marina offer a great selection of foods in this tranquil old town. Relax, bathe in the sunshine and eat freshly cooked fish and local
vegetables, washed down with a local ice cold beer or glass of wine!

Your villa is conveniently located, only a 5 minute stroll to the local beach and a 20 minute walk along the seafront or a short
drive to Latchi harbour. The delightful Polis square in the old town is just a 10 minute drive from our villa. Polis itself has
numerous shops and a large supermarket where you can stock up on groceries etc. Just up the road from your villa are the
Aphrodite baths. They say if you bath in the waters at the baths of Aphrodite you will be blessed with the secret to eternal
youth and beauty!
